Low Intensity Light Therapy: Offered at Peak LiLT, LLC
Low Level or Low Intensity Light/Laser Therapy has been utilized since its discovery in 1967 to aid in the healing of various injuries and conditions in the human body.
It has been studied extensively in a multitude of countries for decades now, including Canada, Israel, and parts of Europe.
It has been studied more recently in the U.S. for the past two+ decades at Harvard University’s Wellman Center at Mass General in Boston, by the United States Air Force, and by NASA who began using LiLT to heal astronaut injuries in 1993. The FDA approved it’s use in the United States in 2003.
There are over 4,000 RCT’s (Research Controlled Trials) that document the efficacy and safety of this treatment.
This treatment works!
